Installation
USE AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-The rolls must be kept well-protected before use (if possible to avoid storage in open air )
-Keep tape rolled in the plastic packing till used entirely
-The driplines must be installed with the labyrinth upwards for reducing deposits and sediments
-The driplines must be kept to the ground to avoid movement from the wind, possibly with small mounds of soil
-Before connecting the tape to the main lines, operate the system to drain it
-The driptape is protected from occlusion from particles in the water flow by using the indicated filtration. Nevertheless it is recommended to make sure that the water is not containing dissolved salts, which may cause clogging
-The Maktape is also suitable for fertigation, provided that the used water soluble fertilizers do not contain unsolved particles, which can cause sedimentation along the labyrinth's path
-The Maktape is not recommended for direct installation under clear mulch film, because it can be sensitive to the lens effect, caused by drops of dew.
-The Maktape is entirely recyclable, do not leave it in the fields after use.
Manual Installation – precautions
-Take care to avoid cutting or rubbing the tape on rough surfaces, avoid bending and excessive tension
-When supporting the roll,l eave the plastic sides turn freely
-Avoid rubbing of the driplines on the ground
-After installing the driptape, drain the main line, connect the tape to it and put in operation to check all system functions properly.
Mechanical installation - precautions
-Do not take out the plastic side covers when fixing the roll
-Leave 70-80 cm distance between the roll and the inlet of the installing instrument
-For installing, use a pipe 50 mm diameter, with a wide angle of bending, made of steel or PVC
-The inside surface of the installing pipe must be perfectly smooth
-Protect the edges of the installing instrument's inlet against rubbing and damaging the tape
-Flatten slightly the outlet of the installing pipe(the form of a duck-bill) to avoid twisting of the tape
